Just a little something I came up with one night...enjoy.
I hope to be respected and looked upon with a questioning gaze.
I vow to preserve my ideas, thoughts, and beliefs, and not get lost in a sea of artificial trends. I vow to follow my heart and all its instincts. Never will I give into the "now" generation of trendy expressionism.

What Exactly Defines Fine Art?
This has always stumped me, as I do consider some of my pieces fine art, but what exactly defines it?
Angry brush strokes on canvas? Perhaps random stills of stop signs and sidewalks? I guess it's something that only the artist can define, though not in a verbal sense.
To me, fine art depicts a sense of emotion. It has a meaning behind it and a story to tell. To those who are willing to listen with their eyes. It's random, it's political, it's colorful and gray. It doesn't have to take a specific shape or form; but in the artists' eyes and mind, it's three-dimensional.
Art can be quiet, art can speak volumes.
Art doesn't believe in "rules" nor does it take orders.
How do you define it?
